Can this process be automated?
Five questions. No form, no score. Answer them for one process and you’ll know whether the call is worth your time.
- 1
Does the process end in a decision from a fixed list of outcomes?
Approve, hold, reject; route to a team; code to an account; request documents. If every one ends in one of a known set of options, the agent can learn to pick one, and hand over when it can’t. If the outcome is a judgment written fresh each time, the agent can still do the reading and the look-ups, but a person decides.
- 2
Do you have past invoices, claims or applications, with how each was decided?
The assessment is measured on 200–500 past ones with known outcomes, and the decision model is trained on your past decisions. If outcomes were never recorded, the first job is to start recording them; a few weeks of your team’s decisions is often enough to begin.
- 3
Do you know every channel they arrive through?
Email, uploads, WhatsApp, LINE, a portal, a shared drive, the post. Anything that arrives through a channel nobody listed never reaches the agent, and the assessment won’t match what happens live. Knowing the channels is half of Map.
- 4
Is there someone who can say what a correct decision is, and spend a few hours a week saying it?
During the parallel run, a reviewer compares the agent’s decisions with what should have happened. Afterwards, they handle the uncertain ones, and their corrections retrain the models. Without that person, nobody can say whether the agent is right.
- 5
Can someone ask you afterwards why one was decided the way it was?
An auditor, a regulator, a customer or your own manager. If the answer is yes, the record matters as much as the automation, and that is where Casesure earns its place. If nobody will ever ask, you may need something simpler than us.
What your answers tell you
Five yeses: book the call. Three or four: book it anyway, the assessment will say which gaps matter. Fewer: fix those first; we’ll tell you how on the call.
This is for teams with volume, consequences and the authority to act: hundreds of invoices, claims, applications or tickets a month or more, someone who can be asked afterwards why a decision was made, and one person who can approve a fixed-scope engagement. If you decide a few dozen a month, you don’t need us yet.
Pick one process. Book the call.
Within three weeks of the first call you know whether this process is worth automating, by how much, and what it costs.
